Uwe Klein is a notable figure in the paragliding community in the Philippines, having founded High 5 Paragliding in 2013. A German national, Klein moved to the Philippines in 2011 and quickly became involved in the local paragliding scene, recognizing the enthusiasm of Filipinos for outdoor adventure activities. He has extensive experience in the field, having conducted over 4,000 paragliding flights, including more than 3,000 tandem flights, without any reported injuries. Klein's background includes nearly 30 years of paragliding experience, with his early flights taking place in Austria. He has paraglided in various countries, including Bosnia, Yemen, and Syria, often being the first pilot to fly in those regions.
